EmberReady began with lived experience: displacement during the Dixie Fire and the realization that ordinary households need better tools before an evacuation becomes urgent.

Most evacuation-planning software is built for governments, agencies, and insurers. EmberReady is built for the homeowner trying to answer practical questions: Where will we go? What do we take? What work should we complete around the house? How do we keep proof of that work organized?

Our mission is to make wildfire preparation clear, seasonal, and useful—without pretending a web app can replace official alerts, fire professionals, local guidance, or insurer decisions.
